New Books in Poetry

New Books in Poetry is part of the New Books Network and seeks out the best of new poetry to bring to our listeners.

My Promise:
I promise to represent the diverse literary community as it wants to be represented. All ages, races, ethnicities, gender identifications, dis/ability, sexual orientations, geographic locations, and dog/cat preferences will be offered equal space and voice. In doing this, I will not jeopardize the quality of this podcast because excellent writing lives in every community. I want to hear about writing, process, revelations, craft, and life.

“Chapbookapalooza”

This month-long celebration of the chapbook boasts an interview posted every other day for the entire month of September, 2014 and October 2015. Chapbooks are small-form collections of poetry that are often stunning examples of poets flexing their creative muscles.
