Decentralized Autonomous Zone Radio
Many of us from Burning Man Information Radio have been working on something new. You may have heard us chat about it, as we’re currently running this years BMIR archives.
It’s called D.A.Z. (Decentralized Autonomous Zone), and it’s a listener-supported, commercial-free live radio network built around a pretty simple idea: We humans CRAVE a shared HUMAN experience!
Real humans making radio for other humans.
DAZ grew partly out of what we’ve learned doing BMIR: there’s still something special about genuinely live radio; people sharing music, ideas, stories and whatever weird thing happens to wander into the studio.
We’re opening that idea way beyond Burning Man.
Music, interviews, journalism, comedy, politics, culture, poetry, philosophy, experimental sound, weird late-night shit. We’re deliberately keeping the definition of a “radio show” wide open.
